Golden Scream — decorative sculpture "Banana"

Golden Scream is a sculpture that grabs attention the moment you walk into the room. A banana character with bold, cartoon-like features is frozen mid-shout — eyebrows raised, eyes wide, hands clutching its own peel. The body is finished in a deep, mirror-bright gold coating that contrasts with the matte, textured surface of the folded-back peel. This interplay of gloss and matte makes the piece shift in character depending on the light and the angle you view it from. Every piece is entirely handmade — shaped, sanded and hand-painted by a craftsman, so slight variations in the facial detailing and in the way the reflections fall are a natural feature of handmade work and proof of its authenticity.

The sculpture works beautifully as a statement accent in a living room, study, gallery or office space — on a shelf, console, sideboard or among books. It also makes an original gift for someone with a sense of humour who appreciates pop-art-inspired design. Care: wipe with a soft dry cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners.
